Advanced order tools

Understand scaled orders, TWAP, chasers and their operating limits.

On this page

Scaled orders#

The scaled-order form distributes a total size across a price range. Review the range endpoints, number of child orders, size distribution and order options before submitting.

Several child orders can remain open at once. Check the combined quantity and the resulting exchange orders rather than treating the tool as a single fill.

TWAP#

The TWAP controls schedule child orders over a duration. Where the form offers them, configure total size, order count, duration, randomness and child-order type.

These are client-managed tools: keep the terminal and its connection active while they run. After stopping or losing a connection, inspect open orders and fills before starting another schedule.

Chasers and quick-order controls#

A chaser adjusts a working order according to its configured behavior. Check its side, limit, offset, size and stop conditions. Quick-order buttons reuse your configured sizes and options; configure them before using them.

Availability varies.

An advanced tab or button may be shown even when the selected exchange cannot perform that action. Follow the displayed validation and exchange response.
