YOUR FIRST WORKSPACE

From sign-in
to your own setup.

A short guide to creating your account, connecting an exchange and making the terminal your own.

Explore the full documentation →

01. Create your account

Create an account or sign in through Auth0. Complete any email verification requested during signup. When sign-in finishes, the terminal opens automatically in the same tab.

Your browser is remembered for 60 days unless you sign out or clear its data. The same account is used for community chat.

02. Connect your exchange

  1. Open the terminal and choose Account → API Keys → Accounts → Add Account.
  2. Select the exchange and account mode that match your API credentials.
  3. Enter the credentials directly in the terminal on your device and save the connection.
  4. Check that the account, market data and relevant permissions load as expected.

You can view public market data before adding private credentials. Trading and private balances require the appropriate exchange API permissions. Connection availability varies by exchange and region.

03. Arrange your view

Choose your market and adjust the panels around your workflow. Charts, order books, positions, orders, the screener and news can sit together in your workspace.

In News settings, Tree News is available as a public feed. An optional Tree key can be entered there on your own device. Open Chat to join the community with your terminal account and choose a public nickname.

Keep a backup of your setup

Choose Encrypted Backup in the terminal and create a password for the exported file. Keep that file and password somewhere you control. Restore Backup imports an existing backup onto a device.

Your exchange credentials and workspace belong to this device’s vault. Signing in on another device does not automatically copy them. Clearing browser data removes the vault and its device key.
